The Lakes State Governor, Chol Tong Mayay has opened seven developmental facilities including a Fishery, Judiciary Center, a Freedom Square, Water system, Zain Network and Prison Services in Adior eastern part of Yirol East County.

RUMBEK, 24 December 2012 [RUMBEK] - Yirol East County is located in Eastern part of Rumbek, the capital of Lakes state.
Governor Chol Tong urged the public to stay in peaceful to allow more development projects to be implemented.
“Those are part of my campaign in 2010 election – I came here today to celebrate with you and have a joy with all of you – you are all in my heart,” he said.
He said the next mission will be to strengthen security and protect lives and property by reinforcing security across all areas suspected to have threats.
“We are with you in spirit, already police forces are being deployed around suspected areas of insecurity,” he affirmed.
Yirol East County Manyang Luk Lueth, appreciate the governor for his commitment to his election promises.
“Today all promises of development have been fulfilled - the dream and aim of governor have come true, congratulation Mr. Governor,” said Manyang.
Yirol East County community in Lakes State received mobile communication network for the first time since the country gained independence last year.
Zain communication network controlled by Republic of South Sudan government opened in Yirol East County.
There is excitement from the community as they can be able to communicate and transact business easily using their phones.
Yirol East County neighbours Jonglei and Unity states which have experienced cattle raiding incidences in recent days.
